Day 15
I have friends staying for a while and it's their first day but managed to squeeze in a workout while they were out and, as always, loved the newness of moving up a level. It keeps it fresh and it's exciting to see what's coming. I'm feeling really good today and the workout sped by. There's some downward dog press-ups as part of a very intense arm sequence (well needed!) and I really enjoyed that. Normal press-ups are too hard and modified press-ups hurt my knees so these downward dog ones are perfect - I can do the whole set but it BURNS!
Day 16
I was too busy today and didn't get a chance to do my level 3 session, when I don't do it I get this feeling that I'm letting myself down and could have gotten up a bit earlier or whatever to squeeze it in because it's genuinely easy to find time for. I'm just not in the mood at the moment which a slight problem for this review! Or maybe four levels is too much and if I knew this was my last 5 workouts I would be more motivated...
Day 17
You know that a workout is going to be hard, when there's weights in the warm-up! Unforunately, the warm-up seems a bit like a level of it's own and that makes the whole level drag on a bit - it seems to go on too long. I do seem to be complaining a lot at the moment, and it's a bit unfair because it's still a lot better than other DVDs I've done, it's just that the first two levels were more impressive and this one isn't as good in comparison. Still powering through and seeing better definition in my arms, so it's working even I'm moaning.

Day 18
I hate to say it, but I'm really fed up of this level. I don't like and I barely have the motivation to get my trainers on and do it - even though it's only 30 mins long. If I wasn't doing this review, today I would have skipped and gone for a run instead. Nonetheless I did the workout today, enjoyed it slightly more than I thought I would but still can't wait until its over.
Day 19
I wore a vest top for the first time in ages today, even though it's been really warm, I've been too self consious until now. This morning however, my arms were looking toned and my tummy flat and I was feeling really confident. I knew that Jillian can do this - get results in astonishingly short amounts of time - but it has still surprised me. It's not just my arms that are firmer, it's my whole upper body - shoulders, back, the whole lot. Having said all that...I still didn't enjoy today's workout very much. I actually think it's because I'm struggling to complete all the exercises, even the cardio sections, and that makes me feel like the session doesn't flow properly.
Day 20
Woke up again feeling very firm and toned and that was just enough to get me doing my morning workout. I've said this before about Jillian's workouts; you can kind of coast through it sometimes but once you focus on what you're doing and force yourself to go a bit harder, or squat lower, or jump higher you feel a big difference in the intensity, so you just have to make that push to get the best results you can.
Day 21
Knowing it was the last day on this level was a good feeling! I got through the workout with a smile on my face and really pushed myself to do every exercise fully. I also weighed myself today and... I lost half a pound taking me to 142.9 lb. Not bad considering my bad attitude and all the eating out at restaurants while my friends were here, not to mention copious glasses of wine in the sunshine!
